Coopération Afrique-UE, forum 2013 sur les TIC

Du 2 au 3 décembre 2013 | African Union Commission, Addis Ababa, Ethiopia

The ‘2013 Africa-EU Cooperation Forum on ICT’ is the sixth of a series of very successful conferences organised by the EuroAfrica-ICT Initiative under the aegis of the European and the African Union Commissions (EC & AUC). These conferences have traditionally provided an indisputable focal point for all Euro-African stakeholders in the public and private sectors involved in collaborative ICT research and ICT for development with a specific emphasis on networking-opportunities, knowledge-sharing and consensus-building.

The event is organised by the EuroAfrica-P8 Partnership in the framework of the AUC Internet/ICT Week that will be held in the same week at the same venue. This week is part of a series of events organised to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the formation of the Organization of African Unity (OAU) / African Union (AU).

The ‘2013 Africa-EU Cooperation Forum on ICT’ will feature various session types :
- Plenary sessions (featuring officials from the European Commission, the African Union Commission, Governments, and internationally acknowledged e-Infrastructures experts) ;
- Presentation sessions (organised around the main conference themes) ;
- Discussions and debates sessions (offering participants the opportunity to actively contribute to the Conference outputs) ;
- Networking sessions (aiming at facilitating additional and informal networking opportunities).
